A haven for outdoor recreation, Ogden is positioned right at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. The mountain range allows for many athletic pursuits, including rock climbing, mountain biking and camping. The other nearby ski areas of Powder Mountain and Wolf Mountain are also immensely popular ski destinations. The Eccles Dinosaur Park, with its many animatronic dinosaurs is a huge draw for families with curious children.
